About Us

Omaha Lacrosse Club is a non-for profit organization, providing boys and girls pre k - 12th grade in the Omaha Metro area, year round lacrosse opportunities.

Our Mission

To build a community that inspires and empowers youth to excel in life and lacrosse. We achieve this through a wide variety of programs designed to develop character, build self-confidence, and instill a sense of community.

Our Vision

Our vision is to be the premier youth lacrosse league, known not only for producing skilled athletes but also for developing future leaders who make positive contributions to society. Through the power of lacrosse, we aim to inspire a lifelong love of the sport, forge lasting friendships, and impart valuable life lessons that extend far beyond the playing field.

By upholding our core values and embracing our diverse community, Omaha Youth Lacrosse aspires to create a lasting legacy of excellence, character, and sportsmanship, empowering our youth to reach their full potential both in lacrosse and in life.

Together, we are building a brighter future, one lacrosse player, one leader, at a time.

Core Values

Sportsmanship: Players should show respect for teammates, opponents, coaches, officials, and the rules. This includes being gracious in defeat and not gloating in victory.

Teamwork: Players should work together to achieve goals and value the strength of teamwork over individual exploits.

Fun: Players should have fun and enjoy the experience of playing lacrosse.

Respect for the individual: Players should treat others with respect and as they would want to be treated.

Integrity: Players should act with honesty and sincerity on and off the field.

Commitment: Players and coaches should make lacrosse a priority and give their best effort.

Equipment

Equipment may slightly vary based on the group your player registers for. For instance, our Soft Stick group will be given a specific stick and only need to bring sneakers and a water bottle. As your player grows, he/she will need additional equipment. Check out these resources to learn more about equipment: Equipment Guide

The Omaha Lacrosse Club knows purchasing all the necessary equipment for boy players can be quite an investment.  To help mitigate the cost of new lacrosse players, OLC has an equipment rental program available to first-year male players.  At the end of the season you are able to pay an additional fee to purchase the equipment.

OLC has a limited availability of the following equipment to rent:

  • “Starter packs” which include gloves, elbow pads, shoulder pads, and a helmet for first-year players to rent for $125 for the season.  At the end of the season, you will have the option to purchase the gear or return it.

  • Helmet only $65

  • Pads only $60
